@yenslavender @butraura @beffybadbelly I second this. Took months for Infliximab to do anything for me, and even when it did it’s still not as good as people made it out to be. People told me it would be “night and day difference” but it’s definitely not. Now starting Azathioprine & Mercaptopurine to supplement.

@butraura @beffybadbelly I’ve got crohns and it’s honestly different per person. and the disease is odd cause a medication that failed you once may work perfectly fine years later. just learn to recognize symptoms and develop a good relationship with your GI doc

Lots of people have questions about being in a coma and I have absolutely no issue with answering any of them. I couldn’t hear anything - apparently my brother sat next to me and talked into my ear everyday and I wish I knew what he said. It wasn’t like being asleep, my mind…

@cjguerrero @beffybadbelly It depends on severity. For me, my bowel perforating was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced, but the sepsis itself was fairly easy to deal with. Just a lot, A LOT of throwing up bile and a 40.6°C temp. But everyone is different too, some people report hallucinations.

@beffybadbelly Did you feel the sepsis? How did it feel? My mom's had it twice and says it's the most painful thing she's ever felt

@beffybadbelly Fr tho I’m glad you’re much better. I’m on infliximab cos I didn’t like the thought of stomach injections and whilst it took a good few months to work, it is a good treatment. I don’t know what you’re on now but I hope your condition is under control ♥️
