@ActusDei @Shiprasorout One catch for the ones who chooses part prepayment in such loans. Since the prepayment is never permanent (it can be taken again by the borrower), such prepayment is not considered as principal payment do not get tax benefit under Section 80C.

One can opt for an additional deduction from salary which can go towards #VPF. The contribution is eligible for deduction under Section 80C (up to Rs. 1.5 Lakhs) and any interest earned on such contribution is also tax-free (for employee contributions up to Rs 2.5 Lakhs).
