Payments for modern software. Global checkout, subscriptions, and payouts. Built for developers. (it’s bax)

Hi guys, I have been building Argus, a self hostable, open-core error tracking platform. Own your data, own your infra. ✅ SDKs live ✅ Team/project management + RBAC ✅ Alerting (email + webhooks) ✅ Billing live Finishing up performance monitoring now. Want early access? Drop a 👋

So by the side we spent the last few days re-writing our docs from scratch. If we’re asking developers to trust our API with their money, the docs aren’t an afterthought anymore, they’re part of the product And so we are treating them that way We’ve documented every endpoint, every object, every error, every field. Every example is something you can actually run. Every webhook has a real payload with each field explained. We’ve even added a changelog so silent API changes won’t get you frustrated Hopefully the docs feel like they’re written by people who actually built and use the API Would love any feedback docs.bachs.io

Welcome to our new home on X.💜 Bachs helps you accept payments globally, manage subscriptions, and send payouts, so you can spend less time worrying about payments and more time building. Keep shipping. We'll handle the money.

Every couple of months, I get an email from @paystack about pausing payments to @CoLab_kd for one reason or the other (always KYC related). I respond in good faith always, but it tells me that fundamentally their KYC process isn't effective and needs to be rethought.

2 weeks ago I launched a side project “Wall Of Rejection” But recently I’ve thought about this a lot and decided this can be bigger than it is right now I’m building this into a bigger platform and our target audience are Companies and Job seekers

Finally we shipped Compliance V2 at Bachs (oh yes, we treat compliance as a product at Bachs) Over the past week, we’ve been questioning almost everything about how compliance works. How much of the complexity comes from regulation, and how much comes from product design? Where should humans be in the loop? Where should software make the decision? How do you give every business immediate feedback instead of making them wait in uncertainty? Not suspending an account abruptly because of a new requirement that you’d have to send them a mail to get Lots of thinking, lots of rebuilding. One step closer to our goal of every business that can be supported going live within 24 hours
