@back2oz @NancyGeorges You clearly haven’t read the supporting docs to the voice. This is the problem, there is no detail on the voice which will create havoc for decades to come. Just look at Wran’s land council.

Treaty discussions and negotiations are probably going to be more at state level as is happening in Victoria. That’s why the statements are false.

@happycardano1 @Daggsy5338 @yes23au Voice doesn’t force a treaty. Agree, Uluṟu statement had those three objectives. Treaty negotiations are already happening independent of voice referendum. They will continue and prob succeed whether there’s a yes or no on voice.

@Daggsy5338 @yes23au Don’t need to ask Mr Mayo about the first one. That’s fundamental constitutional law. Anything can be changed in constitution by referendum. So not correct to say it is there for ever. Certainly harder to remove than if legislated. But still possible to remove.
