Their safety was never under any threat even out on the Celtic pitch. They may have had to take a bit of stick that’s all .It’s only Hearts and Rangers fans who attack rival teams players and staff .

In the last 2 wks Celtic had linesmen try to rule out 2 goals by Maeda that were yards onside. Goal awarded for Hibs that was a clear handball by the scorer & 2 stonewall penalties weren’t given against both Hibs & Motherwell.
Stewart/Boyd/English et al very quiet about these.

@JungleLion_ Great to be one round , great we are seeded but regardless of who we get I’d say a less than 50% chance we qualify for the main event .The really important bit is probably that Europa group stage football is bottom line guaranteed.

Daizen Maeda is going to be sorely missed when he inevitably leaves this summer, but he has earned his chance to experience something else and go with our blessing. The guy turned on the style and dragged us to the title. While others weren’t scoring, he stepped up big time. 💚

@sloanybhoy7 @Breeny___ I hate VAR for many reasons .However it’s hard to argue against it when Maeda scores a goal which is incredibly deemed offside by a linesman when it’s 5 yards onside .Without VAR yesterday that terrible mistake by the linesman decides the Scottish title .

Personally I have plenty sympathy for hearts&their fans * excluding their bigot manager .
Regardless of a couple of crucial and correct VAR calls I believe Celtic have been fortunate because we got things when we needed it . But that’s football I’m afraid , it was their Seville🍀

Scottish football is so crap. Celtic get to play an additional home tie against the title contenders. 60,000 stadium, but Hearts get 700 tickets for their away allocation. How is that allowed? Rubbish.

@BrennanMatin Ref apparently went on the pitch and officially blew the whistle. The game was officially ended 20 secs left or not ….They are clutching at straws .
