Older generations say “we all struggled.” Yes. But not like this. You didn’t graduate into debt + no job security. You didn’t compete with global labor + AI. You didn’t pay modern rent on entry-level pay. This isn’t the same struggle. It’s a different game entirely.

Instead it uses vague language like, "Many unmarried, childless women are happy." But go ahead. Stay Single. See how you like it in 20 years.

Because we don’t delude ourselves. I speak from experience; I was once conservative and now I’m liberal. Happiness is complex - I’m extremely happy about some things and unhappy about others. But being a feminist allows me to be more honest with and about myself and my reality.
