The funny thing is, most Ghanaians aren’t reacting to the FBI crackdown out of genuine concern for justice, but for personal reasons. A lot of the outrage seems tied to resentment over the fact that these fraudsters lived lavish lifestyles. And truth be told, many of those same people wouldn’t hesitate to do the same if they had the opportunity. The difference is that they either couldn’t pull it off or aren’t savvy enough to defraud anyone of that scale; so they end up acting like saints instead. 😆
