Yesterday I was advised by my optician to go to A&E about an eye condition that I'd developed. This morning I drove to Torbay Hospital, parked up, walked into the A&E department past about 6 ambulances waiting to offload patients, saw a sea of people in the waiting room with absolutely no idea when their ailment might be looked at and immediately decided to turn around, walk out the door and go home. The UK is becoming more of a third World country than some of the third World crap holes we send money to. Meanwhile I'm having to work longer hours just to stand still. You have to wonder EXACTLY how this will all end. If basic services are ALL declining while the amount of money we pay in taxes is forever increasing it surely won't be long before the whole system completely collapses. I give it 5 years.

Why the USA can't afford anything for you.

If we impeach and remove Trump right now, maybe just maybe the world will forgive us one day for what he’s done.

@gbutler0385 @Tesco According to sky news the other day only 25% of the worlds oil goes through the strait of Hormuz so that’s means 75% of it is ok so not sure why the prices need to go up exorbitantly on a daily basis (especially as this current oil was bought well before the war started)

There can no longer be any possible justification for the United Kingdom allowing the United States to use UK territory as a base from which to commit war crimes. Trump's latest address to the nation leaves no room for doubt that the sole purpose of US use of RAF Fairford is to facilitate the continued carpet bombing of civilian homes and infrastructure in Iran. If the US is intent on committing war crimes, let them do it from their own soil. The British people should not be forced to partake in the crimes of the Trump administration...

@Absolutemtb1 I enjoy both mainstream flavours of cycling. The road ride is brilliant. Well organised and mostly closed roads. I'm camping in Brighton for a few days. BHF runs a coach service to London for the start. Your bike goes in the back of a truck.

@bad_1975 @TeslaFamilyYT And that 15k even sat in a crappy savings account would gain interest to pay for several tanks of fuel too. Leasing cars, or buying new is just dead cash. If that floats ya boat..fine, but it’s utterly wasteful and that’s why the vast majority don’t buy into it.

Diesel's gone up 40p per litre in a single month. I plugged in last night at 5.2p/kWh and woke up to a full car for less than an cheap filter coffee at Starbucks. Even the cheap stuff! At some point the maths just speaks for itself.

@Hookademus @TeslaFamilyYT Absolutely. I own 2 vehicles. In total worth about £3k. To get one EV vehicle that can do what my 2 ice vehicles do I would need to spend at least £15k. That's a lot of fuel.

@AbcAbc347433 @2147mill Yep. I was after some new walking boots. Size 8. Nothing odd. No stock in Plymouth of any of the ones I wanted, across several shops. Ordered online and they were delivered the next day and £35 cheaper 🤯

@2147mill The only good stuff these days I order online, the high street is just dead dead. Constant stock problems if you actually go to a store so I don't even bother.

This is a genuine question. When was the last time you bought something in the UK and thought: “that was good value!” Because I really struggle to think of one.
