The headquarters of the African Development Bank Group in Abidjan hosted a productive working session between the President of the Group, H.E Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, and H.E. Dr. Fahad Aldossari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA). The visit took place within the framework of the strong strategic relations between the two institutions. Discussions reaffirmed the depth of the existing partnership and focused on ways to further strengthen cooperation and expand development initiatives in support of Africa’s priorities and sustainable development efforts. The meeting also addressed mechanisms for advancing joint projects and enhancing institutional coordination to maximize development impact and deliver tangible results for countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. BADEA reaffirmed its firm commitment to continuing to work closely with its strategic partners to support inclusive economic growth, promote regional integration, and empower communities through innovative and sustainable development initiatives.

شهد المقر الرئيسي لـ مجموعة البنك الإفريقي للتنمية في أبيدجان، جمهورية الكوت دايفور ، جلسة عمل مثمرة جمعت بين معالي رئيس المجموعة الدكتور سيدي ولد التاه، ومعالي الدكتور فهد بن عبد الله الدوسري، رئيس مجلس إدارة البنك العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في أفريقيا . وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار متانة العلاقات الاستراتيجية التي تجمع المؤسستين، حيث أكدت المناقشات على عمق الشراكة القائمة بينهما، وركزت على سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك وتوسيع آفاق العمل التنموي بما يخدم أولويات القارة الإفريقية ويدعم جهود التنمية المستدامة. كما تناول اللقاء آليات تطوير المشاريع المشتركة وتعزيز التنسيق المؤسسي بما يسهم في تعظيم الأثر التنموي، وتحقيق نتائج ملموسة تعود بالنفع على دول أفريقيا جنوب الصحراء. وأكد المصرف التزامه الراسخ بمواصلة العمل جنبًا إلى جنب مع شركائه الاستراتيجيين لدعم النمو الاقتصادي الشامل، وتعزيز التكامل الإقليمي، وتمكين المجتمعات من خلال مبادرات تنموية مبتكرة ومستدامة

برعاية سعادة الأستاذ عبدالله خليل المصيبيح رئيس المصرف وتشريف معالي الدكتور فهد بن عبد الله الدوسري رئيس مجلس الإدارة، أقام المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا مأدبة الإفطار الرمضاني السنوية. جمع اللقاء موظفي المصرف وعائلاتهم في أجواء أخوية جسّدت أسمى معاني التكافل والترابط المؤسسي. وتخلل الحفل تكريم لنخبة من الموظفين المتميزين تقديراً لجهودهم المبذولة، بالإضافة إلى الاحتفاء بالزملاء المتقاعدين وتكريمهم عرفاناً بما قدموه من عطاء وإسهامات قيّمة طوال مسيرتهم المهنية.

وقّع المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا اتفاقية تمويل بقيمة 10 ملايين يورو لصالح بنك الإسكان بجمهورية الكونغو، وذلك دعمًا لجهود البنك في تمويل القطاع الخاص والمؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في الكونغو، بما يسهم في تعزيز النشاط الاقتصادي وخلق فرص العمل، لا سيما في قطاعات واعدة مثل الصناعة والزراعة وغيرها من القطاعات الإنتاجية. وقد وقّع الاتفاقية من جانب المصرف سعادة الأستاذ عبد الله خليل المصيبيح، رئيس المصرف، فيما وقّعها من جانب بنك الإسكان السيد أوسكار إفرايم نغولي، المدير العام للبنك.

The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) signed a financing agreement of EUR 10 million with the Housing Bank of Congo, aimed at supporting the Bank’s efforts to finance the private sector and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Congo. This financing will contribute to boosting economic activity and job creation, particularly in promising sectors such as industry, agriculture, and other productive sectors. The agreement was signed on behalf of BADEA by H.E. Mr. Abdullah KH ALMUSAIBEEH, President of BADEA, and on behalf of the Housing Bank of Congo by Mr. Oscar Ephraïm Ngole, Director General of the Bank.

On the sidelines of the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, H.E. Mr. Abdullah KH ALMUSAIBEEH, President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, together with his accompanying delegation, met with H.E. Mr. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. The two sides emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Bank and Equatorial Guinea in the coming period. H.E. the President noted that agriculture and fisheries constitute priority sectors for strengthened partnership. For his part, H.E. the President of the Bank reaffirmed the Bank’s readiness to support the country’s development agenda, noting that a mission to identify priority projects from the Bank recently visited Equatorial Guinea, and that this mission would contribute to identifying projects ready for financing by the Bank. The meeting also reviewed the Bank’s private sector and trade finance windows. Both sides agreed to continue working jointly to further strengthen cooperation across the areas discussed.

على هامش الدورة العادية التاسعة والثلاثين لمؤتمر رؤساء دول وحكومات الاتحاد الإفريقي، التقى سعادة الأستاذ عبدالله خليل المصيبيح، رئيس المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا، والوفد المرافق له، بفخامة السيد تيودورو أوبيانغ نغيما مباسوغو، رئيس جمهورية غينيا الاستوائية. وأكد الجانبان أهمية تعزيز التعاون بين المصرف وغينيا الاستوائية خلال المرحلة المقبلة. وأشار فخامة الرئيس إلى أن قطاعي الزراعة والثروة السمكية يمثلان مجالين ذوي أولوية لتعزيز الشراكة. من جانبه، أكد سعادة رئيس المصرف استعداد المصرف لدعم الأجندة التنموية للبلاد، مشيراً إلى أن بعثة لتحديد المشاريع ذات الأولوية من المصرف زارت غينيا الاستوائية مؤخراً، وأن من شأن هذه البعثة أن تُسهم في تحديد المشاريع الجاهزة للتمويل من قبل المصرف. كما تناول اللقاء نوافذ المصرف لتمويل القطاع الخاص وتمويل التجارة. واتفق الجانبان على مواصلة العمل المشترك لتعزيز التعاون في مختلف المجالات التي تم بحثها.

H.E. Mr. Abdullah KH ALMUSAIBEEH, President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, together with his accompanying delegation, attended the Opening Ceremony of the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, held in Addis Ababa, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. This year’s Session is convened under the theme: “Assuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063,” bringing together Heads of State and Government and development partners to advance dialogue on continental integration, economic transformation, climate resilience, and sustainable development across Africa. BADEA’s participation reaffirms the Bank’s continued commitment to supporting Africa’s development priorities, particularly in vital sectors linked to sustainable infrastructure, and to strengthening partnerships with Member States and development partners.

حضر سعادة الأستاذ عبدالله خليل المصيبيح، رئيس المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا، والوفد المرافق له، الجلسة الافتتاحية للدورة العادية التاسعة والثلاثين لمؤتمر رؤساء دول وحكومات الاتحاد الإفريقي، المنعقدة في أديس أبابا، جمهورية إثيوبيا الفيدرالية الديمقراطية. وتنعقد هذه الدورة تحت شعار: "ضمان استدامة إتاحة المياه وأنظمة الصرف الصحي الآمنة لتحقيق أهداف أجندة 2063"، حيث يجتمع قادة الدول والحكومات وشركاء التنمية لمناقشة سبل تعزيز التكامل القاري، ودفع مسيرة التحول الاقتصادي، وتعزيز القدرة على الصمود في مواجهة تغير المناخ، وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة في القارة الإفريقية. وتؤكد مشاركة المصرف التزامه المستمر بدعم أولويات التنمية في إفريقيا، لا سيما في القطاعات الحيوية المرتبطة بالبنية التحتية المستدامة، وتعزيز الشراكات مع الدول الأعضاء ومختلف شركاء التنمية.

On the sidelines of the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, H.E. Mr. Abdullah KH ALMUSAIBEEH, President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, together with his accompanying delegation, met with H.E. Mr. Daniel Chapo, President of the Republic of Mozambique. H.E. President Chapo commended the longstanding and solid partnership between BADEA and Mozambique, affirming the Government’s commitment to improving the implementation of ongoing projects to ensure tangible development results that benefit the people of Mozambique. The meeting also reviewed the Bank’s private sector and trade finance windows. H.E. President Chapo emphasized the importance of identifying suitable operations under these windows, with trade finance focusing particularly on food security and energy. The two sides further addressed the impact of the recent cyclone that affected Mozambique and the growing challenges associated with climate change. H.E. the President of the Bank reaffirmed the Bank’s readiness to support the country, noting that communication with the Ministry of Finance is already underway and that climate resilience considerations will continue to be integrated into project design.

على هامش الدورة العادية التاسعة والثلاثين لمؤتمر رؤساء دول وحكومات الاتحاد الإفريقي، التقى سعادة الأستاذ عبدالله خليل المصيبيح، رئيس المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا، والوفد المرافق له، بفخامة السيد دانيال تشابو، رئيس جمهورية موزمبيق. وأشاد فخامة الرئيس تشابو بالشراكة الراسخة بين المصرف وموزمبيق، مؤكداً التزام الحكومة بتحسين تنفيذ المشاريع الجارية لضمان تحقيق نتائج تنموية ملموسة تعود بالنفع على شعب موزمبيق. كما استعرض اللقاء نوافذ المصرف لتمويل القطاع الخاص وتمويل التجارة، حيث شدد فخامة الرئيس على أهمية تحديد عمليات مناسبة ضمن هذه النوافذ، مع التركيز في تمويل التجارة على مجالي الأمن الغذائي والطاقة. وتناول الجانبان كذلك آثار الإعصار الأخير الذي ضرب موزمبيق والتحديات المتزايدة المرتبطة بتغير المناخ. وأكد سعادة رئيس المصرف استعداد المصرف لدعم البلاد، مشيراً إلى أن التواصل مع وزارة المالية قائم بالفعل، وأن المصرف سيواصل إدماج اعتبارات التكيف مع تغير المناخ وتعزيز القدرة على الصمود في تصميم مشاريعه.
