استقبل سعادة الأستاذ عبدالله خليل المصيبيح رئيس المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في أفريقيا، سعادة الأستاذ المختار ولد داهي، سفير الجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية لدى المملكة العربية السعودية. وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث آفاق التعاون المشترك، وتعزيز التنسيق لدعم الجهود التنموية في أفريقيا، إلى جانب استعراض فرص تطوير الشراكات التي تسهم في تمويل المبادرات والمشروعات ذات الأثر الاقتصادي والاجتماعي المستدام. وأكد الجانبان أهمية مواصلة التعاون المؤسسي وتبادل الخبرات بما يدعم مسيرة التنمية ويعزز التكامل بين المؤسسات التنموية والدول الأفريقية.

H.E. Mr. Abdullah KH ALMUSAIBEEH, President of BADEA, received H.E. Mr. El Mokhtar Ould Dahi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, they discussed prospects for enhanced cooperation and closer coordination in support of development efforts across Africa. They also reviewed opportunities to strengthen partnerships that contribute to financing initiatives and projects with sustainable economic and social impact. The meeting highlighted the importance of continued institutional cooperation and the exchange of expertise to support Africa's development agenda, while strengthening collaboration among development institutions and African countries.

H.E. Mr. Abdullah KH ALMUSAIBEEH, President of BADEA, received Mr. Amro Hazaa, Minister Plenipotentiary for Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Ali, Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary for Commercial Affairs. The meeting focused on avenues for strengthening development cooperation, promoting Arab–African trade, and expanding areas of partnership in support of economic and social development efforts across Africa. The discussions also explored opportunities to advance initiatives and projects with sustainable impact. The meeting highlighted the importance of continued joint cooperation and the exchange of commercial expertise, while supporting effective partnerships that contribute to empowering African economies and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals across the continent.

المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا (BADEA) يوافق على تمويل بقيمة 100 مليون دولار أمريكي لدعم تحديث وتوسعة جامعة جوليوس نيريري في كانكان بجمهورية غينيا وافق مجلس إدارة المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا (BADEA) على تقديم تمويل بقيمة 100 مليون دولار أمريكي لدعم مشروع تحديث وتوسعة جامعة جوليوس نيريري في كانكان بجمهورية غينيا، في خطوة تعكس التزام المصرف بتعزيز التعليم العالي وتنمية رأس المال البشري في القارة الإفريقية. وسيسهم المشروع في رفع الطاقة الاستيعابية للجامعة من 8,509 طلاب إلى أكثر من 20,000 طالب، إلى جانب تطوير البنية التحتية الجامعية، وتعزيز البحث العلمي والابتكار، وتنمية المهارات والكفاءات اللازمة لدعم تنفيذ برنامج سيماندو 2040، بما يواكب أولويات التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في غينيا والقارة الأفريقية. ويأتي هذا التمويل ثمرةً للتعاون الوثيق بين حكومة جمهورية غينيا والمصرف، ويؤكد حرص المصرف على دعم المشاريع الاستراتيجية التي تسهم في بناء مؤسسات تعليمية حديثة، وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة، وإعداد الكفاءات القادرة على قيادة مستقبل القارة. ويواصل المصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا دوره كشريك تنموي موثوق للدول الإفريقية، من خلال تمويل المبادرات ذات الأثر التنموي المستدام، بما يعزز النمو الشامل ويحقق الازدهار للأجيال القادمة.

Cet investissement permettra de porter la capacité d’accueil de l’université de 8 509 à plus de 20 000 étudiants, de moderniser les infrastructures, de renforcer la recherche et l’innovation, et de développer les compétences nécessaires à la mise en œuvre du Programme Simandou 2040. Ce financement est le fruit d’un effort conjoint du Ministère du Plan et de la Coopération internationale, du Ministère de l’Économie, des Finances et du Budget et du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique. Il traduit également la confiance des partenaires dans la vision portée par Monsieur Président de la République, Son Excellence Mamadi DOUMBOUYA, et dans les réformes engagées par le Gouvernement. The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) participated in the 2026 African Water Forum, held in N’Djamena, Chad, on 15–16 July 2026. The Bank was represented at the event by Eng. Hatem Aljabri, Head of the Agriculture Value Chains and Water Division. The Forum brought together African leaders, as well as representatives of governments, the private sector, and financing and development institutions. The Forum serves as an important African platform for advancing dialogue on policies, programmes, and plans in the water sector. It also provides an opportunity to discuss ways of addressing common challenges, exchange knowledge and expertise, and explore innovative partnerships and cooperation opportunities that contribute to mobilizing financial resources and investing them in support of the Sustainable Development Goals and inclusive development across African countries. A delegation from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), led by H.E. Mr. Abdullah Al Musaibeeh, President of the Bank, participated in a number of high-level meetings and engagements in Vienna as part of the OPEC Fund Development Forum 2026. In this context, H.E. Mr. Abdullah Al Musaibeeh, President of BADEA, signed a financing agreement with H.E. Mr. Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan, Minister of Finance and Development Planning of the Republic of Liberia, for the financing of the Salayea–Konia Road Development Project. The project will be financed through a USD 30 million loan to support the construction of a 50-kilometre section of the Salayea–Konia Road, which forms part of the 274-kilometre Gbarnga–Konia–Mendikorma Corridor. The project is expected to enhance regional connectivity, improve access to markets and essential services, facilitate trade and mobility, and contribute to economic and social development in the project areas.
