Courtesy of a goal scored by a player who, despite being their top scorer, was hated by their fans and hounded and abused so badly that he came off social media and was too scared to go over to them and celebrate at the end of one of their games.
Scumbag club.

@KXNGDXM_CXME Sadly forest fans aren’t ambitious
They are happy to tread water in the little old city ground and finish 15th every year #nffc

A cheeky takedown of capitalism served up in signature Boots Riley bizarre fashion, I Love Boosters is equal parts romp and political statement.

@AndrewGold_ok @JacoCats As a forest fan , Brennan Johnson was unstoppable as a kid now look at him …

This is true. People in replies deliberately misunderstanding the post.
Look at Spurs - dele, winks, skipp, Townsend, Mason, tanganga, walker-peters… how many of them were better at 23 than at 19? They all either stagnated or went backwards. Outside spurs - Joe Cole, Rooney, Owen, Walcott. You’d take the 19 year old of all of them!
Obviously Kane is an exception, and many players like Vardy get better much later.
But the point of the post is that this improvement isn’t inevitable. It’s something that sometimes happens - sometimes doesn’t.
I think Tel might improve - especially because so much of his weakness is mental / decision making - which can come with experience. But certainly not inevitable and there’s a strong chance he falls away if spurs stay up and the injured players and Mikey Moore come back.

Mathys Tel is the prime example of why people overestimate potential in players.
Only because someone is 19 y/o doesn't mean he will improve in EVERY aspect of the game.
Fifa and FM fried people brains.
Being young is a positive because with experience, you can mature and be stronger in certain situations, especially mentally.
If you're a slow teenager you will not become a fast player in the future.
If you're football IQ is low you won't become an high IQ player.
If you lack agility you will lack that for all your career.
At a certain age (19/20) you will keep your charateristics as a player all your career.
You can polish something, improve on other things but you will never become a completely different player than what you are.
