Convenience, not having to learn new things, and maybe gaming. For me the only thing that keeps me on Windows at all is gaming. Linux is at about 90% gaming compatible now and rapidly improving. When it hits 100% I'll switch and never look back. Anything else Windows does I can do on Linux for free. I also do use Linux for other things now. There are a lot of things it does better. I have servers with an uptime (not being rebooted) in the 2000+ day range. Find me a Windows Server ANYWHERE that can make that claim.

Why people switch back to Windows 11? 847 days on Linux. Zero crashes. Still waiting for the problem.

@cyber_razz Ubuntu, from the choices. I use Mint now, but I have used Ubuntu in the past. I prefer the Gnome2 desktop, and Ubuntu migrated to Gnome3, but I'm flexible. Kali is used mostly by pen testers and cyber geeks. Never tried Arch, not against. Red Hat? Same.

Which distro would you choose?
