A friend from Seychelles saw nkui on Instagram and sent to me asking if it’s a Cameroonian dish. The way I deny eh. She said in the comments people are saying it’s a Cameroonian dish, I told her it’s our enemies trying to tarnish our image.

So they store nkwi in bottles and keep in the fridge. If it is to be eaten again, they take it out and leave it to rise to room temperature. They don’t heat it up. I really try to respect the soup but…
