@NtDrifter Chatting to a young bloke who’s an apprentice in town yesterday, he had $70 to put fuel in his Ute to get home, fuel light came on as he got home🧐 This is going to hurt alot of people on lower incomes.

Diesel here is $3+ and rising daily. Going to be a long haul I suspect. I don’t think $4 is too far off and $5 is not out of the question. Hope I’m wrong. 20% of world supply is a massive shortfall, reduced usage will only be driven by price. How much resilience is there?

@DavidSandow1 $37 for 50 days in feedlot. Lms heading out on plantain shortly . Bit season dependant but I’d imagine $45-50 total grain.Weaned 140% from preg ewe lms last year. 160 from 2yo . Our target is to av 3 lms per ewe weaned in 27 months.

Controlled nutrition for ewe lamb joining. 3rd year in a feedlot. Ewe lambs are a permanent age group that is the new maiden for prime lamb businesses.very exciting space. So many wins

@Kerin_Ag They are part of a new windfarm west of carcoar. Not the ones that have been at carcoar east of the hwy at Carcoar for years

@Kerin_Ag Don’t worry I did think twice about it, there’s oats in there, just blew out the canola, it was just too thick if we don’t get much follow up.

Farmers getting round the current fuel situation

Very doughy in the yards this morning after 7mm overnight. Humidity meant shirt was wet through by the time I’d done the second race. Split into 4 mobs of 155 now and it’s started raining gently. 😊

After a fire we had last night I’ve decided these bloody buggies need their own dedicated shed. Chatting to a mate this morning, he said that’s the third shed he’s heard of where a buggy was responsible🔥

@lawbal44 I was up the rd on a tractor, my good wife managed to get a Toyota and and the ski boat out somehow. One thing I’ve learnt out of it is not to store tyres in the shed with with machinery, they were what stuffed the shed, very difficult to put them out

@BlueskyandRyeg1 Petrol, one of the kids drove it for about 2 minutes and parked it back in shed, electrical issues I’m suspecting
