Velvet is absolutely sure new boy, Sunshine, is her baby.
She's completely obsessed with him and spends all her time laying next to the quarantine pen and chattering to him. And he's so intrigued by her, too.
Just like Velvet, I'm looking forward to the day Sunshine and his companion, Helen-Rose, are out free-roaming and getting to know all the other buns.

Yesterday I had to drive Meadow to an emergency appointment with the specialist vet in Riga.
He'd developed an infection in his lower jaw and had to have a bad tooth removed.
Little boy was in a lot of pain but some Meloxicam pain control medication relaxed him, enough for him to get some healing sleep.
He stretched out next to me under his favourite comfort blanket and slept for 7 hours solid without hardly moving.
Today he's eaten a small amount of broccoli and is feeling a little bit better.
He's just had his evening medications and a 40 minute cuddle, which he really enjoyed. And there were lots of tooth chattering and licks for his humun dad.
Normally he hates being fussed, but last night and today he accepted being cuddled. To feel cared for, loved and secure.
Right now he's back in his temporary hospital pen, washing himself and cuddling close to an electric oil radiator that's glowing with warmth, especially for him.

Toffee had a very undignified trip to the V.E.T. She now has a bald tail & butt, as she was so matted (more than could be cut out). She will have tasty metacam to see if her apathetic approach to washing relates to arthritis/ bladder/teeth, and we hope she will smell better soon!

Toffee seems to be slightly damp underneath and smelly. Hoom has mentioned V.E.T for Monday and is even discussing bum washes. Please send urgent help or advice to preserve her dignity!

Hi everyone.
Please say hello to the newest members of the family here. These little babies are named 'Helen-Rose', a perfect little lop girl. And a little boy I've named 'Sunshine'.
They're more than welcome here at the sanctuary and this will be their home forever now, permanently.
The list of unwanted buns purposely bred for Easter is sadly already growing and the post-Easter tsunami of cast-offs hasn't even begun.
Thankfully, these two perfect little souls will be safe here with me.

Two hours ago my little Moonbeam set off OTRB. He was one of the very few buns born here at the sanctuary, his mother having been pregnant when I brought her home. He suffered a massive heart attack and set off on his voyage while being cradled in my arms.

Just to let all our bunny twitter pals know that my beautiful sassy boy, Horace, passed away in my arms this morning. He had become very frail in the 3 mths but his stoic character never accepted defeat! I am beyond devastated & my heart is in a million pieces #RIPHorace 🐰🌈😓💔

Hi, everyone.
Been quite a few days since I've posted anything.
Had so many vet visits to attend, 13 days out of 21, including clocking up more than 1200km, backwards and forwards, transporting them to appointments with the local vet and 200+ km away, to the specialist vets in Riga.
Really pleased to say that those who were ill are now greatly improved and, other than eldest bun Tiny Boy, are all back to good health, including little Jennifer.
She's been really taking it easy, eating lots and sleeping lots, making up for the weeks of suffering with her stomach problems. Such a relief to see my beautiful little girl back to normal.
Please say 'Hi, Jenny'. But very quietly please, because she's busy, practising her latest hobby... sleeping.

Please wish Jenny a huge bundle of positive thoughts and prayers. She's fighting hard to beat the problem happening with her stomach.
The X ray taken last Friday shows abnormalities with her lower intestine and she's being a good girl, tolerating being medicated with five different meds twice a day.
I've drawn an arrow on the photo detailing the area of her stomach in question.
Thankfully, with care and continued medication, and lots of gentle massages she'll be well again.
Jenny is one of the little buns I adopted at around three weeks of age and raised by hand following the death of their mother.
She's my baby girl. ❤️

Big sister Hari is missing her baby, but she's transferred all of her love to Chloe. Sephi was everyone's baby. 😔I haven't been able to wake up without crying yet. We miss you, snorfy girl.
