@shriyanevatia I’m still so bad at this but when it works it’s bc I adjust based on the situation. I use a jog as an excuse to explore a new city and yoga/stretching to keep momentum without feeling like I’m overdoing it. MelissaWoodHealth is a staple when feeling low energy/PMS/postpartum.

To all who have a consistent exercise habit (3-4x/week or more, high intensity), how do you keep this up through: - Getting sick a few times a year - Times when there's a lot of travel/holidays I've never been able to keep up a habit for > 3 weeks because one of the 2 happens

@daisy My reason for posting was to offer that there are still people who appreciate essential biz still requiring masks bc, for instance in my case, my kid still could get it. Herd immunity helps me feel better but I don’t trust unvaxed people to mask. So I guess it’s just complicated.

@daisy She can’t wear a mask (she’s 4 mo old) and I would push back on it being performative only bc it comes from genuine urge to keep her safe. I could understand someone thinking it is over-cautious but performative? No.

I have rediscovered the key to making a normal weekend feel long: ✅ do something social & outside on thursday after work ✅ repeat on friday ✅ do nothing on saturday = makes sunday feel like an extra day ☀️ bonus points if it's summer with sunset at 8:30pm ☀️
