Not one tweet from @SunderlandAFC stating Everton away tickets were out at 12pm.
IMO be loads who rely on stuff like that and that’s why @SunlunTickets was so huge but clearly that’s been stopped.
Be fans who go every week who miss out cause of stuff like this #safc
So Littlers allowed to financially ridicule a whole audience who’ve paid their hard earned money to go and watch him, but I’m not allowed to call him a little pudding because he’s 18? Do me a favour 😂
@RokerReport About 12 away games last year, year before and year before that went on sale to people who had zero points !!!! Everyone had chance to increase the loyalty points, but decided not to travel to Plymouth, Cardiff, Swansea etc
Something not quite sitting right with the way the club are cracking down on use of tickets, specifically for away games.
At the weekend there were emails flying around about spot checks before tickets would be issued out, and today I'm led to believe that branches have been reminded about ticket sharing amongst their members.
I actually don't believe that the current loyalty system is an unfair one - it rewards those who have accrued the most points, particularly in the lower leagues, so if you're guaranteed tickets now we're in the Premier League then you've more than likely earned it. It's about as fair as it gets and whilst most people would love the chance to go to all these top-level grounds now we're back in the big time, that's just the way it is. People have earned that right to go these games.
The introduction of spot checks and an increase in the auditing of who uses tickets feels a bit rank, though. Mainly because fans will see other fans on social media who they know do not go to games appearing in the stands, wondering... how on earth did they get a ticket, then? Did the club help facilitate it? Because people post it online, will they be investigated and reprimanded for acquiring tickets outside of the fair, proper loyalty system?
I doubt it. It's enabled to a degree and I can understand why people are annoyed by the introduction of these spot checks. It may or may not be a club directive, but they're certainly leading on it and contacting supporters and branches directly, and it doesn't feel right, and doesn't feel clear.
@LRosssseee Can happen. It was only a few games ago he pulled up after taking goal kick and looked like he may have pulled something. Fulham away I think, he rolled his ankle too. Thats all it takes and we are going into the derby with Patterson in goal
