@woodboroughpark Moore concrete strainer & gate posts, creosote fence posts. Not a cheap set up but hopefully long term.

It is quite extraordinary that we are all facing the same issue - new timber posts simply not being fit for purpose. We have used only creosoted posts for the last 5-6 years but are already seeing failures with those as well. Anyone sorted this problem? Metal rather than timber?

@taylor_andrewj @patlynn78 That’s correct, we are hosting the National ploughing match in ‘24. We have planned this in a slightly different place on the estate so will be a different setting again.

My to tip for the day…. If you’re coming to @CerealsEvent the approach from the South (Ollerton) on the A614 to avoid the queues which were evident at the Northern gate yesterday

@willkealey @CerealsEvent Apologies @willkealey planning thought the traffic from the sth would be worse but actually flowed well. An early morning issue from the nth compounded through the morning. Changes have been made for tomorrow and major changes will occur if the event comes back to Thoresby.

Well my day out at @CerealsEvent was an anticlimax, sat for 1 hour 40 in traffic, turned around and came home.
