The Blessing of a Daughter A daughter is a gentle dawn after a dark night, A fragrance carried by the breeze, A mercy wrapped in tenderness, A light that brightens every home she enters. She arrives with tiny hands, Yet carries oceans of affection. She speaks with a tender voice, Yet her words heal wounded hearts. She walks with delicate steps, Yet leaves mighty footprints upon the world. A daughter is a mother's comfort, A father's pride, A brother's companion, And a family's enduring joy. She learns kindness and teaches compassion. She receives love and returns it multiplied. Where harshness seeks to settle, She often plants the seeds of mercy. Where loneliness threatens to grow, She brings warmth, laughter, and belonging. She is the first to remember, The first to care, The first to ask, "Are you well?" And often the last to stop praying for those she loves. A daughter is not a burden to be carried; She is a blessing to be cherished. Not a liability to be feared; She is a trust from Allah to be honoured. Not a source of shame; She is a source of dignity, grace, and reward. How many homes have been softened by a daughter? How many fathers have found gentleness through her? How many mothers have discovered their closest friend in her? How many families have remained united because of her love? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ promised glad tidings to those who raise daughters with kindness, patience, and dignity. Through them, doors of Paradise are opened, hearts are refined, and souls are elevated. So honour your daughters. Teach them faith before fashion, Character before appearance, Knowledge before status, And confidence before applause. For today's little girl May become tomorrow's teacher, A righteous wife, A devoted mother, A leader, A scholar, A healer, Or the reason an entire generation finds its way to goodness. A daughter is not merely a child in the home; She is a garden of blessings, A fountain of mercy, A treasure of tomorrow, And one of Allah's most beautiful gifts to humanity.

Dear Muslim Lady, Be industrious. Work diligently. Acquire beneficial knowledge. Earn good money through lawful means. Own properties. Build businesses. Invest in your health. Invest in valuable assets. Be financially grounded. Develop useful skills. Read widely and continuously. Save consistently. Plan for the future. Avoid unnecessary debts. Support your parents. Take care of your children. Be a blessing to your husband if you are married. Be independent, but never arrogant. Be ambitious, but remain humble. Be confident, but preserve your modesty. Build your intellect as much as you build your appearance. Protect your dignity. Protect your reputation. Choose your friends wisely. Use social media responsibly. Do not measure your worth by likes, comments, or validation from strangers. Have goals bigger than fashion and trends. Contribute positively to your community. Give charity regularly. Help other women rise. Stand for truth and justice. Fear Allah in public and in private. Pray consistently. Recite the Qur'an regularly. Maintain good character. Guard your tongue. Guard your chastity. Guard your heart. Remember that beauty fades, trends change, and wealth can disappear, but faith, character, knowledge, and good deeds remain. Strive to become a woman who is respected not merely for her appearance, but for her faith, intelligence, wisdom, compassion, integrity, and contribution to humanity. May Allah make you among the righteous women of this world and the successful women of the Hereafter. Āmīn.

Pages of the Glorius Qur'ān today, Tuesday 16/6/26, Sūrah al-'Araf (7): 150-159, tafakkur verse 7: 153 Theme: The Door of Repentance Remains Open {وَٱلَّذِینَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسَّیِّـَٔاتِ ثُمَّ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا وَءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ} "But those who committed misdeeds and then repented after them and believed - indeed your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful". LESSONS: 1. No sin is too great for Allah's mercy No matter how serious a person's wrongdoing may be, sincere repentance can erase it. Allah's mercy is always greater than the sins of His servants. 2. True repentance requires change The verse does not merely mention wrongdoing; it mentions repentance afterward. Genuine tawbah involves regretting the sin, abandoning it, and resolving not to return to it. 3. Faith strengthens repentance Allah mentions repentance together with belief (īmān). A repentant heart draws closer to Allah through renewed faith, obedience, and righteous deeds. 4. A person's past does not have to define their future Islam does not imprison people in their mistakes. The one who sincerely repents can become better than before, transforming a history of sin into a future of righteousness. 5. Hope should always overcome despair Shayṭān wants sinners to believe they are beyond redemption. This verse teaches that despair is misplaced, for Allah remains Al-Ghafūr (The Forgiving) and Ar-Raḥīm (The Merciful). The story surrounding this verse follows the incident of the worship of the calf by some of the Children of Israel. Despite the enormity of their error, Allah still opened the door of repentance to them. This demonstrates a timeless principle: whenever a servant returns sincerely to Allah, he will find a Lord who is Forgiving and Merciful. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ O Allah, forgive our sins and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. Āmīn.
