The Soak and Wapentake of Wirksworth Lead Miner’s Standard Dish. Present to Wirksworth by King Henry VIII, this dish measured the amount of lead ore owed to the king. Today is our first valuation day being held at the Wirksworth Heritage Centre between 2 and 4pm.
