@yanxchick A5 It can be the one more nail in the coffin for brick & mortar stores. Group breaks/breakers can be easy low hanging fruit for card companies getting their products out and ripped. But it benefits a smaller pool of hobbyists. #CardChat

I got this card when I was young. I couldn’t pronounce the name so I asked my Dad. He said, in his best Franglais accent, “Giiilles Giiilbert”. It made no sense to me, but I thought it was the coolest name ever.. My Dad is gone.. but I still have the cards.. and the memory..

In an interview with Deadline, Howard Gordon addressed recent comments by ‘24’ star Kiefer Sutherland about a potential revival of 20th TV’s real-time thriller, on which Gordon served as executive producer/showrunner. GORDON: It’s absolutely in process, there’s something we are developing. They, meaning Disney [parent company of 20th TV] and such, have not committed to it, so it still is a process. Look, it’s actually no secret, and this is worth saying. I, over the years, and obviously various iterations, not just with Jack, but, trying to spin it off with Corey [Hawkins], and with different people. I’ve also sat through dozens of pitches from other writers. I’ve developed a few. I even did a spin-off. I have such a nostalgia for that show, and I think Kiefer does too. One thing we couldn’t figure out for a long time was a direction that ever held water, that sustained itself. This feels like it could be, but it’s not formal, it’s not done. And there’s a part of me that also feels like, particularly at this point in my career and in my life, what I really don’t want to happen is that it’s not good because I don’t think that’s fair to the show. It’s not fair to the fans, not fair to, frankly, to myself. So it has to be something that you connect to, or at least you tell yourself you’re connected to. @yanxchick A2 In terms of card companies…they need a track record. Some custom creators…most custom creators don’t gain my attention. It’s all results-driven in terms of sites that sell cards on the secondary market. If I have a good experience, I go back. If not, I move on. #CardChat
