On 5/10/2023, I had the first working visit to the Tanzania Honorary Consulate in Accra, Ghana in company of Brig. Gen. JK Kadawi, Defense Attaché. We were welcomed by Hon. Dr. Ken Kwaku, the Honorary Consul. I presented Hon. Kwaku a Certificate and other symbols of office.

It was a pleasure and honour to bid farewell to Rt. Hon. Zubeir Ali Maulid, Speaker, of the House of Representatives Zanzibar on 5th Oct, 2023 at Kotoka International Airport. Hon. Speaker and his delegation were in Accra, Ghana to participate in the 66th CPC.

On 27/09/2023, I joined my colleagues in the SADC Ambassadors Group, consisting of Angola, Botswana, DR Congo, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe in their regular meeting at the Residence of the South African High Commissioner.

On 26/09/2023, Our Mission and Voice of Nigeria marked the end of Level 1 Kiswahili Training programme for VON Staff, with a graduation ceremony of 19 successful participants. The programme commenced on 9/05/2023 and is targeted at ultimately strengthening VON Kiswahili Service.

On 25/09/2023 at the Chancery, I and my staff, received Mr. Aretas James Lyimo, Commissioner General, Tanzania Drug Control and Enforcement Authority (DCEA) and his team. They are in Abuja to participate in the 23rd meeting of HONLAF scheduled for 26th-29th September, 2023.

On 18/09/2023 at the Chancery, I had discussion with Mr. Emmanuel Ansah-Amprofi, CEO and founder of Mate Africa Concept. Our discussion centered on Tanzania products which require promotion in ECOWAS markets using ICT innovations, as well as organization of business missions.

Tanzania is ceasing its place as one of the leading Conference Centers in Africa! According to the Association of International Conference and Convention (AICC), Tanzania ranks 5th and holds 10% market share on the continent, behind South Africa, Morocco, Rwanda and Egypt.

On 15/08/2023, I received on courtesy call, Hon. Eleodimmuo Uchenna Nwachukwu, member of the House of Representatives of Nigeria and Chairman of Nigeria-Southern African Group. Our discussion focused on ways to promote inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

I congratulate H. E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of Tanzania on her appointment to the Advisory Board of the Global Centre on Adaptation, a vital world body that fosters climate resilience for human wellbeing. The appointment letter was delivered by Mr. Ban Ki-moon.

On 13/09/2023 at the Chancery, I received Rev. Fr. PAM Dennis, Provincial Superior, Ghana & Nigeria Province, of the Missionaries of Africa. He facilitated the release of Frater Mahinini (Tanzanian) and Rev. Fr. Sanogo (Malian) who were kidnapped in Niger State on 02/08/2023.
