I vividly remember that after the 2022 election, when the Ekiti State government appointed three Igbo individuals as Senior Special Assistants, the entire people of Ekiti rose up in strong opposition. The governor immediately reversed the appointments. This is one thing I love most about Ekiti State — we are unapologetic Yoruba conservatives. Ire ooo!
