Our Juniors performed incredibly well individually and in teams in Surrey competitions in 2025, winning the Kingston League for a 3rd consecutive year and also winning the Keppler Trophy. A number were selected as part of Surrey squads and competed in Surrey Rookie Tour events.

@Garyrowe78 provides an update on the condition of our fairways as we move toward winter. Gary also highlights the importance of using the divot bags provided while on course (these do not need to be used on tee boxes - our greenkeepers fill divots on the tees).

On Saturday, we celebrated our 2025-26 Captain's Drive In. Jo and Adrian, our Club Captain's along with Charlie, our Junior Captain, will be raising money for Sutton Mental Health Foundation. They were joined by Lisa, the CEO of SMHF, to launch their fundraising efforts.

Our Scratch team lost 3-2 (with the final match going to an extra hole) against Roehampton GC in the final of the Surrey Scratch Knockout at this afternoon. A disappointing finish to a great season which also saw them reach the Q-Finals of the Elite Amateur Golf League.

Today, it's #thankagreenkeeper day. Our team are currently out preparing the course for or a ladies competition.  We'd like to thank @Garyrowe78 and his team for their hard work, day in, day out and in all weather conditions to maintain and prepare the course for us to enjoy.

Our golf course sits in a rare chalk downland habitat and is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. The golf club works in conjunction with @BCConservators to safeguard the natural habitat to enable flora and fauna to thrive.

Congratulations to Jack who followed up his victory in the U18 Surrey Schools Championship by beating the defending champion Phil Brittain this afternoon to win the 2025 Men's Club Championship! Jack won 4 rounds of matchplay having qualified over 36 holes of stroke play!

Our greenkeepers completed their spring maintenance program this week. Approximately 25 tons of sand was used to dress our greens before they were verti-drained at a depth of 220mm. Having been rolled, they were overseeded with a bent fescue seed mix. #Golf #greenkeepers
