Breaking news Pretoria Court Approves Transfer of Edgar Lungu’s Body to AVBOB mortuary The body of Zambia’s former president Edgar Lungu is set to be moved to an AVBOB mortuary in Pretoria East after his family and the Zambian government reached an agreement on the next steps. The Pretoria High Court endorsed the arrangement today, Thursday and ruled that only immediate family members would be permitted to view the remains. The Lungu family is nevertheless continuing its court battle to gain full control over the late president’s burial arrangements.

Two Mountains Burial Services (TMBS) has filed papers in the GP High Court in PTA which affirm Zambia’s position that the Lungu family obtained an urgent order for Lungu’s remains on a “selective version” i.e w/o full disclosure. The reconsideration bid sits tomorrow #SABCNews .
