The worries you keep replaying in your head, the du’a you’ve almost given up on, the marriage issue, the family tension, the debt, the fear of the future, the guilt of the past, the private pain nobody knows about, bring them all before Allah. There is nothing too heavy for His mercy and nothing too broken for His power to fix. Keep asking, keep hoping and never think your prayers go unheard.

The way some people are obsessing over this fast is becoming quite ridiculous. How do you see someone who chooses not to fast today as if they are less of a Muslim, when the fast itself is voluntary and not compulsory. Mutane sun fara tilasta wannan ibadar ta nafila kamar wajibi.

It was on a day like this that the Prophet (PBUH), after combining Dhuhr and Asr, spent most of the day with his hands raised in dua, despite being the most honoured man on earth. Imagine the level of devotion and humility he still showed before Allah. Don’t sleep on this golden opportunity.

My issue isn’t even who makes it abroad or who stays back in Nigeria. What I’m certain of is that the world doesn’t have the capacity to absorb 250 million Nigerians as immigrants. At some point, the bitter truth is that we’ll have to stay back and fix the country ourselves.
