One of the best hires in the past few years that's not getting enough attention? Georgia's move to pluck Mike White from Florida. Bulldogs already have 3/4 of their win total --- 12 --- from last season. Tennessee comes to Athens on Saturday.

This semester in Reporting I for @UGAGrady I covered the local business beat. I developed my interviewing skills and professionalized my writing skills. I look forward to seeing what I learn from Grady for the future.

Mayor Girtz on the new Classic Center’s accommodations: “This is an arena that's purpose built. And so whether you're Stevie Wonder, or Carrie Underwood for the weekend or Billy strings, this is a room that's going to be built for you to come and provide for Athens.”

Mayor Girtz on the cost of the project: “The Classic Center’s initial request was $55 million. So we reduced considerably what we ended up with.”($34 million)

New Classic Center benefits include: 600+ jobs, a professional hockey team, workforce housing, 90,000 new hotel rooms and more.
