@Shailjajdatt @hsingmaster Good point about food waste! Here at Penn State, I have noticed food waste is a huge issue, especially in the on campus dining halls. I also have worked in food service and noticed CRAZY food waste

@hsingmaster A2. Coming from India, food waste is something that troubles me the most. So at the local level, we had students look at the amount of food waste and then analyze the reasons. For globally, connecting with people around the 🌎 and discussing the issues. #GlobalEdChat

@hsingmaster I think students can better understand hunger at the local level by becoming more involved in their local community food aid centers. Understanding hunger at a global level might include becoming more educated on how hunger differs from country to country.
