@MSandersDP @vteditor I would note RAM usage of each of those functions using your current Mac and add up that usage.

@MSandersDP @vteditor The amount of memory you choose depends on your workflow. Previous MacBook Pros topped out at 16GB so 32GB seems generous to me. Then again I’m running 96GB on my 2019 Mac Pro.

@MSandersDP @vteditor Comparably equipped, the M1 Pro is only $200 less than the M1 Max. Also when we compared the M1 Pro with 16 GPUs to the M1 Max with 32 GPUs, the M1 Pro ran the graphics tests at half the speed of the M1 Max.

Adobe has created new M1 versions of their pro apps like Premiere Pro and After Effects. I dowloaded the beta of those two apps. When I ran my sample projects, the test time was cut in half for After Effects and cut to 1/6th for Premiere Pro.
