Unless I’m mistaken, caring for little kids while sick is an element of parenting that is utterly hack-proof, meaning there is no hack that makes it any easier, no lesson you can learn that makes it go better the next time. So grim

If you teach in a college or university (or probably at any level) I urge you to give an assignment (extra credit is great) that asks students to locate a print book on a shelf in a library & to check it out. Most have never done this in their lives and they learn a lot from it.
