The club can confirm George Knight has joined Dorking Wanderers on a permanent transfer. Since joining in 2020, George has been influential in our journey up the leagues and has played a part in some of the biggest games of our history. @Manwithabeard4 Fair point, although I don’t think there is an issue at football. The games just evolved into something different to what we’re used to growing up. For me, it’s all about balance - however, I’m convinced that to be successful you need to be able to run and compete physically

Been watching a lot of football lately. Loads of talent at grassroots level. Little difference between Step 7 and top-end Step 5 IMO (maybe fitness). Watching @WoodleyUtdFC @ReadingCityFC , @Thatcham_TownFC & @ProcisionRdg shows physicality matters. Top football needs athletes, lads with ambition need the gym. Interested to see where @Newbury_Town go.
