What a fabulous first day back for Year 1. Today in science we explored the parts of a flower by looking at tulips and labelling the parts together🌷

Just a polite reminder that we’re looking forward to welcoming our children back on Tuesday 21st as Monday 20th is an inset day.

Our Early Years children welcomed Bryan from @ActiveSland to complete activities from their Roots and Shoots programme. He showed the children how to plant their own vegetables and herbs and talked about how important it is for sustainability and looking after our Earth 🌍🌱🫛🥬

We then had 7 little eggs delivered and we watched the lifecycle of a chicken happen before our eyes. We learnt many ways of how to take care of these precious baby chicks 🐓🥚🐣🐤🐥

What a busy Spring term our wonderful Early Years children had.... We started with a spring walk looking for signs of the changing seasons 🌱🌷🪺🌤☔️
