The rats are fleeing the sinking ship. Z-blogger Alexander Kartavykh went on vacation in Vietnam and decided to extend his stay. Read his reasoning for “taking some time off.” 🔽😉 “Strange as it may sound, I actually want to live a long life and don’t particularly aspire to rid myself of daily inevitable frustrations as quickly as possible. Forgive me, those of you who thought I was deeply interested in our domestic elite infighting. Turns out that wasn’t true. What’s the point? The country is approaching a critical moment in its modern history. Everything is practically sparking with tension and feels ready to explode over any random bullshit. Cognitive wars that our top leadership failed to notice and ultimately lost, causing everyone to go increasingly insane and radicalized. Under these conditions, my usual format has basically turned into a “minefield of miracles.” You never know when you’ll get too carried away and trip the wrong wire. Rationally speaking, I should probably switch to purely loyalist rhetoric, run to the Presidential Administration for talking points, and follow them word for word without stepping out of line. But that would mean losing myself and cashing in all my social capital for safety and stability. The other option is to keep going the way I always have — stay true to myself and walk toward my Golgotha. Because in critical moments there’s no room for sentimentality, and “whoever is not with us is against us.” End of discussion. Both options are complete bullsh*t and promise nothing good. And somehow, even though I don’t have a massive subscriber count, my strength lies in quality. You’d lose your f*cking minds if you knew who’s here with you. So staying silent isn’t really an option either. Sometimes what I ignore says more about me than what I write about. Since there was no acceptable way out of this “two chairs” dilemma, I exited through the entrance. Meaning I left on vacation until the end of summer or autumn. And I announced it publicly. In a way, I deactivated myself. Disappointed the core audience, burned accumulated authority, and lowered the weight of my own words by an order of magnitude. That was the whole point. Now I’ll keep watching all our bullsh*t, but from the outside. Without personal involvement. And that’s good. Because, for example, drones were being shot down over St. Petersburg last night and the internet has been down for the second straight day. When you’re inside all that, it’s hard not to say that everyone’s a f*cking a*shole. But from Vietnam, it’s easier. From here you perceive it as information, not as if someone is shoving a red-hot poker up your ass. Should anyone else leave? I don’t know.”

A Kherson resident I know shared this photo: "Artillery just hit our neighborhood. One shell hit a playground. A family I knew well was there. The father of four was killed. The mother and youngest daughter are hospitalized, in critical condition." Russians do this. Every day.

At first, I decided not to post this video. It's unbearable to watch it. But I'm posting it because it's what Russia does to Ukrainians, to our kids, every single day. Those bastards have committed yet another act of terrorism on Kherson's civilians. Kids were injured. Their dad was killed right in front of them. We have to do everything we can to stop mad Russia. 📹: Andrii Bokser

Russian artillery shelling of Kherson killed a man. His wife and two daughters, aged six and three, were injured - they suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. The family was at a children's playground at the moment of the attack. Horrible.

🔴” Why are you silent, world?” asks Andriy the Boxer, a volunteer from Kherson, taking two kids, 3 and 6, to the hospital after they get severely injured at a playground. Their father is killed. By Russians. Why are you silent, world? 📹Andriy Boxer

The Russian Federation attacked a playground in Kherson using multiple rocket launchers: A father was killed, and his wife and their two young children were injured. The 36-year-old wife, as well as their two daughters—aged 3 and 6—sustained blast-related injuries and numerous shrapnel wounds. The injured family was hospitalized. Russia at the UN yesterday: "We do not attack civilians." Yes you do, you filthy bastards—you do it every single day.

CNN correspondent visits Ukrainian long-range drone launch site According to Nick Walsh, as many as 20 drones are launched from a single site, with three or four other nearby locations carrying out similar operations. The teams work at night, since they are among the top targets for Russia. "Ukraine's been itself under attack for years. And what's happening behind me, is their response, their chance to flip the pain back towards the Russian side. An utterly unexpected turn of events in this war, to see Kyiv able to target deep inside Russia the way Moscow has wreaked havoc across Ukraine for years."

Denys Shtilierman confirmed the combat use of a rocket-carrying drone by Fire Point 🔹 Denys Shtilierman @DenShtilierman, Chief Designer and co-owner of Fire Point, told NV that one of the reasons for modifying a kamikaze drone into a rocket carrier was a surplus of Soviet S-5 aviation rockets. Ukrainian aviation frequently used these rockets, particularly from helicopters, but this tactic eventually had to be abandoned due to significant risks to pilots and aircraft. ❗️ In turn, the FP rocket-carrying drone is capable of carrying 8 S-5 rockets, flying at a range of up to 500 km, and launching strikes from a distance of 1.5 to 3 km. Fire Point notes that the targets for these rockets can include: ▪️ enemy logistics, such as trains with oil tankers; ▪️ oil depots; ▪️ oil refineries with a large number of pipes and storage tanks. 🔹 However, the primary mission of the rocket-carrying drone is to counter Russian air defense units. The developers claim that creating the rocket-carrying drone requires almost no additional financial costs or complex engineering solutions. Denys Shtilierman notes that this drone is already a serial production item and can be manufactured in the required quantities. 🔹 Furthermore, Fire Point is working on a version of the rocket-carrying drone that will be capable of launching strikes in automatic mode, without operator intervention, and at significantly greater distances. 📹: NV

Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський
This week, I prepared a special letter addressed to the President of the United States and to Congress. And yesterday, the letter was officially delivered to the institutions in Washington. It is quite rare for the leader of another state to address both the President and Congress of the United States simultaneously with a letter. But the situation now requires action, swift and effective action. It is important that America hear Ukraine. We understand that much of the world’s attention is currently focused on the war in Iran. But the war here in Europe must also be brought to an end – a very bloody war that is already in its fifth year at full scale. The sooner we are able to provide greater protection against ballistic threats, the sooner we will be able to make diplomacy work. As long as Russia continues to rely on missiles, its interest in diplomacy is not real. We must correct this. And we can do so only together with America. Ukraine is grateful to America for all its support. And Ukraine will be even more grateful for a dignified peace and guaranteed security. All of this is possible – if there is sufficient determination.

Where will Iran's nuclear material go? IAEA chief weighs Kazakhstan, Russia and China. IAEA chief Rafael Grossi carrying water for the world's worst autocrats. Instead of sounding the alarm on Iran's weapon-grade nuclear ambitions, he’s playing dumb with "we don't judge intentions" and casually suggesting we just hand their highly enriched uranium over to Russia or China. Because giving nuclear material to putin or Xi, who Trump loves to cozy up to, sounds totally safe, right? What a joke! Rafael Grossi: “Like other countries, they are following the current negotiations between the United States and Iran. One important part of that, it has many aspects, with moves and the missiles and the proxies, but one very important thing is that there is a large amount of highly enriched uranium at 60% of enrichment. To make a bomb, you need 90%, so it's a few turns more, and then you are at that level. Interviewer: “Which is what they want.” Rafael Grossi: “We don't judge intentions.” Interviewer: “Well, 60% uranium is not for creating energy.” Rafael Grossi: “You are exactly, you are very close to something which is quite sensitive.” Interviewer: “Yeah.” Rafael Grossi: “And and so, this material is there, and it has to be removed as part of these negotiations. And this is where the interest of of Kazakhstan and other countries comes comes in. Interviewer: “And and there will be an interest of Russia, because vladimir putin is there today. Is it safe moving Iran's enriched uranium to Kazakhstan?” Rafael Grossi: “It it is safe to move it. You need to...” Interviewer: “But putting it there, I mean.” Rafael Grossi: “Well, in Kazakhstan, yes, of course, it's a country that is in good standing in with it with its non-proliferation obligations. It has a low-enriched uranium bank, so it have it has a number of, basic infrastructural facilities that could... but it could be somewhere else. It could there Russia has been mentioned. China has been mentioned. Other places have been.” Interviewer: “So, feasibly, could you see Iranian enriched uranium ending up in Russia or China? Would that be a success?” Rafael Grossi: “What would be a success would be to remove this uranium from a place where it could be used to make weapons.”
