I am Yoruba, born and bred. I supported Peter Obi in 2023, and by the grace of God, I will do it again in 2027 if he’s on the ballot. Character and competence have no tribe. This is where I stand.

@TheGreatestIFE This is too low. Even the military didn't do this when they were in power. This is too low. Shame on Tinubu and those supporting this. Citadel of Education?

@OfficiaEdoOsasB Ask how many people even know Ben Obi today, the vice presidential candidate to Atiku in 2007? Whenever you hear them say, Atiku brought Peter Obi to limelight ...na body dey pepper them. Peter Obi na baba!

Why didn’t Okowa gain national prominence when Atiku selected him as his vice-presidential running mate? It was actually Goodluck Jonathan who first brought Peter Obi into the national limelight by appointing him to a key position.
Dr. El Mo PsyD™️@Drelmoatiku

Serving as running mate to @Atiku Abubakar is no ordinary privilege. It is a rare political blessing few can claim. In 2019, Atiku picked Peter Obi and promptly Obi blew into national limelight like Timaya’s plantain boy track. Though their 2023 paths diverged, Obi’s earlier association with Atiku undeniably boosted his stature. Similarly, after losing the 2022 PDP presidential primaries, Nyesom Wike made no secret of his intense desire to pair with Atiku, underscoring the magnetic pull of AA. Unable to get the golden VP ticket, Wike did what any jilted lover would do. He declared total war on his own party and everyone in it. As the battle for 2027 rages, Atiku’s enduring drawing power remains evident. Whether it is Peter Obi fighting for the slot again or Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde emerging as a formidable alternative, one thing is clear: Atiku continues to sit at the heart of serious opposition calculations. @Atiku who has consistently attracted top talent knows how to build coalitions and that experience may prove decisive in the battles ahead.

The 2 major contenders in the ADC are too active online not to have noticed the open war between their supporters, if they’re keeping quiet, it’s because they endorse it!!

Peter Obi cannot parachute into a structure he did not build and start demanding equal ownership of it. Coalitions are not built on social media noise, they are built on years of political investment, relationships, compromise and hard bargaining. Atiku put this alliance together, convened the stakeholders and carries the political machinery behind it. The Ibadan gathering was not some fan convention, it was a room full of real political heavyweights, power brokers and established operators. Truth is, outside the emotional wave of 2023 Peter has not shown the kind of elite coalition building capacity needed to command that room on his own.If he believes otherwise then let him gather his own bloc, negotiate his own alliances and test his own weight. But as far as ADC is concerned, the structure is spoken for. Waziri is not asking for permission he is taking his seat. Politics is not charity, and it is not turn by turn. Take the heat or leave the kitchen.

Ayo Fayose is not supporting Peter Obi; he is supporting Bola Tinubu. He appears to want to play a role similar to the one Doyin Okupe played in the last election. I later heard that it was Tinubu who positioned him around Peter Obi to ensure he contested independently. Fayose has now been commissioned.

Obidients supported Atiku in 2019. It is time for Atiku to make a sacrifice and support Peter Obi in 2027. By 2031, we will support him again. We cannot keep supporting him while he never supports us. Politics is a two way street

Go and check my 2023 election analysis. I use data to predict the future. Obi/Kwankwaso can win if Atiku, Tambuwal, El Rufai, and Bala Mohammed back the ticket fully without compromise. Add Makinde, it's almost a sealed deal. Atiku/Obi can win if OBIdients agree to back the ticket. This is the faith of the opposition. They have to unite and agree.

Peter Obi is the only person in that coalition who could walk away, spin it to his advantage, and still keep his base intact - he doesn’t depend on party structure. The fact is what?

One day, these lots will catch up. Peter Obi cannot "urge" or "summon" his supporters because he doesn't own them. They are not fed, maintained or placed on subscriptions. He's supported to be President - not vice or party booster. Obidients are not goons for hire.
