@JimmyJimrid @Ben_LD_Nurse I felt people were more aware of our scope and role when termed intellectual disabilities in Ireland than learning disabilities here in the UK.

@Ben_LD_Nurse It’s not that long ago we were discussing RNID (RN Intellctual Disability) as this was more aligned with International definition. I would be interested to hear from Eire and their experiences. Recruitment and retention in “Nursing” is difficult across the board.

@Ben_LD_Nurse When I trained in Ireland, we were registered as intellectual disability nurses. I found people including other healthcare professionals understood our scope and role a bit more than here in the UK. I tend to find more journals EU wide referring to it as intellectual Disability
