Peter Obi had seasoned professionals as aides during his time as governor, not political urchins whose only source of livelihood is politics. They all returned to their professions after serving. Alex Otti is doing the same thing. His team is also filled with professionals. Take for example the commissioner for power, Ikechukwu Monday, read his profile, and you will understand why such man wouldn't abandon his career to jump about with politicians after public office. *On the side* Oseloka Obaze served as SSG under Obi, and the man is still there standing with him in the mission to liberate this country. I am curious. A man who was once governor and has spent decades in business somehow ends up with people he met in 2022 as his main political allies and aides. Where are his old friends? Where are his former aides? Where are the people who watched him govern? Why is he surrounded by socio-political neophytes, clout chasers and current affairs influencers? What does it say about a man that not one person from his years in office or his years in business has followed him here? That silence from his past is the loudest thing about his present. When you think about it, it does say everything really.
