So an ‘almost didn’t happen’ holiday did happen. I have to admit to a tear, the relief was slightly overwhelming as it’s taken me 5 days to stop and remember how to do absolutely bloody nothing. And then I relaxed.

@mmould_pooleNHS I agree, and we try. But it’s also our responsibility to speak a language that is inclusive and respectful, reflect when we don’t or when we are reminded, and apologise when we do.

Do you count patients or numbers? Have you ever ‘eliminated’ a patient from a pathway or waiting list. Do you hear whole conversations with no use of the word ‘patient’ when that’s exactly what they’re talking about? #stopcounting #notanumber
