He has been backed 5/2 into 11/8 and hopefully can get us off to a winning start to the day in France. He has been running well all season and deserves to get his head back in front now. I like Cualificar for the big one tomorrow so I'm hoping he wins to frank that Prix Niel form. Coltrane isn't getting any younger so it is worth chancing CABALLO DE MAR to come out on top in the Prix du Cadran. This likeable 4yo has looked so progressive since his stamina has been drawn out and a slow start cost him any chance in the Old Borough Cup at Haydock so put a line through that. I expect him to bring his best form here and he is worth keeping on side. The ground should be perfect for CANDY and I can see him running a big race for Richard Spencer. He won the Ayr Silver Cup last month showing a really good attitude and if he gets out in front again they might not be able to peg him back here. He just keeps pouring it on and clocked a good time last time as well so there is clearly plenty in his favour again. Clearly a lot of potential lining up here but ISAAC NEWTON won at Glorious Goodwood despite still looking far from the finished article. He is open to plenty of improvement especially now tackling a mile and if it pans out favourably I'm expecting him to make it 2 wins from 3 starts here. I know they have backed Alcantor here and he is definitely the danger but I love QUDDWAH and think he can get the better of that rival. He'll need to better that run in the Prix du Moulin but I'm confident he is better than that and he impressed winning at Chantilly before that blip where he had Alcantor trailing back in fourth. If he can repeat that he should come out on top. I don't think VOLTERRA did much wrong in defeat at Newbury. He went down just a head to the right horse in Remmooz and if building on that again should take an awful lot of beating here. He should be a Group horse in time so at Listed level here his class is expected to come through and see him back in the winners enclosure. Great chance for SENOR CAMPANARO to make the breakthrough here. He has shown bits and pieces of promise in 3 starts to date and now pitched into a nursery and stretching out in trip should take a sizeable step forward now. An opening mark of just 64 definitely underestimates him and connections have found the right race here. Already turning into a bit of a gamble. After winning at Salisbury and Epsom REVELANCE lost nothing in defeat beaten less than a length at York last month. She is still open to further improvement and back on the AW off just a 1lb higher mark she is expected to have too much for these rivals. Callum Rodriguez has been impressing in the saddle and he gets the leg up and that is certainly no negative.

Unbeaten filly SWEET TREASURE has impressed so far and with more to come she could prove up to landing the hat-trick. I did think she'd be a bit bigger than 11/4 but that is likely with good reason. Progressive filly R DISASTER is worth keeping on side here. She has won 2 of her last 3 and her form stacks up. If she brings her best she should have these covered back down in grade. Taking a chance on likeable colt CRAZY MASON bouncing back to his best. That was a tough ask at Saratoga last month and he will find this easier so could be a big player. Gun Runner filly PERFECT SHOT arrives on a hat-trick and full of confidence I think she'll prove hard to beat under Tyler Gaffalione. We know this track suits and she has plenty going for her. Hard to oppose MYSTIK DAN here as he has strong form coming into this. He will find this easier than recent assignments and this is his optimum trip so good value in his price despite being favourite. Gold Phoenix looks opposable so STAY HOT could be the value. He has been knocking on the door and might be able to reverse recent form with the promise of more to come now.

Anyone else backed this OZONE in France? 🇫🇷 Impressive debut win and very much 'could be anything' Not an easy race as Special Wood looks nice too but I'm tempted...
