If anyone doesn’t know how the “real world” works, it’s Jon Husted.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar
Sen. Jon Husted: "People living in poverty are just not very, um, experienced at navigating the real world, right? I remember talking to one young lady who said, 'Well, I don't really know how money works at a grocery store,' because she grew up and has lived all of her adult life using SNAP cards to buy groceries. You literally have to teach people how to budget ... the buzzword today, let's face it, is 'affordability.'"

Canada slapped 25% retaliatory tariffs on U.S. spirits and cleared them off the shelves. Sales plunged 65% in weeks. Trade wars don’t just hit producers, they hurt workers, small businesses, and consumers on both sides of the border.

@RealSkipBayless Knock it off you nut job. You have ZERO credibility now with your stupid rants about Sanders this weekend. No one wanted him because no one wanted the Circus that goes with it.

Tonight as I lay awake in bed, restless, thinking about Jesus and his final days on earth. The cruelty he was shown. The darkness, the loneliness he must’ve felt. I then imagine the woman at the well, her soul quenched by the living water Jesus offered. Jairus’ daughter, restored to life by His touch. I picture the woman who anointed Jesus’ feet with her tears, her sins washed away, her hope reborn. Then there’s Judas, whose betrayal haunts; the Pharisees, defiant in their challenge; Pilate, orchestrating the crucifixion; the Roman soldiers, mocking and brutalizing Jesus; Peter, crumbling under denial; and Thomas, wrestling with doubt.
Today, I have felt their stories echo within me. What must it have been like to witness Jesus’ death, to face a world where He lay sealed in a tomb? Yet Jesus’ words held truth. Tomorrow, we rejoice He rose! He carved a path for us, reignited our hope, and showed no sacrifice too great, no barrier too vast, no earthly limit He wouldn’t shatter. His love for us surpasses all. Nothing else compares.
He died and rose, with you etched in His heart.
If your world feels shadowed, hopeless, or solitary, know there’s a light, a hope, a friend waiting. Jesus died so sinners like you and I could live. You’re never alone, you are LOVED.
