If the surface of the earth is an 8x11 sheet of paper, #ag land is the size of a business card. The size of arable land is 1/3 of the business card. The remaining 2/3 is grazing for #ruminants. Removing ruminants —> issues for food security. Excellent illustration by @GHGGuru

While marginal land isn't suitable for crop production, it makes up 2/3 of all agricultural land. Cattle & other ruminants are able to digest otherwise indigestible grasses that grow here & are unfit for human consumption. 🐄
