@4Vvyas Why not Rashid Khan? He should also play for India instead of AFG in India vs Afg match?

This FY, my P&L is down to 50L including today’s loss. Now guess what the total charges are, close to ₹1 crore.
And then SEBI releases reports saying 90–95% of F&O traders lose money, while the government keeps squeezing traders with insane charges and taxes.

@s_amir_das @SouleFacts Many people make their livelihood by doing theft., murders etc. When police catches them, its a financial disaster for them too. Should we allow to continue with their work? You are sounding more like Rabish Kumar.

@SouleFacts It's true that many Hindus too made their livelihood from the cow trade. For them too these guidelines have been financial disaster. They have been doing this for decades.

A jeweller mentioned the duty hike has created a havoc in the market... Says all retail sellers coming in are wanting the MCX rate which is near 159000 which they cannot offer as the smuggled gold is already flooding the markets big time and is available at 8-9000 lower Any jewellers confirm ?

@harshmadhusudan @abhymurarka Metal companies are going to spend huge amounts in next 5 years. JSW - 20bn$, Tata - 7bn$, Sail - 4bn$, Nalco - 3bn$, HZL - 3bn$, JSPL - 4bn$ (estimate), AMNS - 5bn$ NMDC 5bn$. This is almost 1.5-2.0x if what they spent in last 5 years. OMCs have large capex pipeline too.

India private sector listed capex has been rising. Last year all sectors rose, except for telecom. Our narrative of 'no private capex increase' is outdated.

@WeekendInvestng Moreover, local jewellers are never transparent about the rate. They charge 95% of gold rate for 22k, 82% for 18kt. Moreover, their rates are always higher than branded ones. They charge high on gold and discount making charges.

@Imsonali0 Suddenly seeing a lot of tweets this year on Kedarnath food prices, Darshan queues and roads. Is it a paid campgain or genuine concerns or a clickbait?

“A tourist at Kedarnath Dham called a ₹90 chaat ‘too expensive’… but the shopkeeper’s reply changed his perspective” Tourist – “Brother, one plate of chana chaat please.” Shopkeeper – “It’s not ready yet, brother… I’ll have to make it fresh.” Tourist – “Alright… how much is it?” Shopkeeper – “₹90 per plate.” The tourist looked shocked – “₹90? Brother, you can get a full meal for that price down in the city!” The shopkeeper smiled lightly – “Looks like this is your first time in Kedarnath?” Tourist – “Yes, I came from West Bengal.” Shopkeeper – “That’s why… things don’t work here the way they do in the plains.” He picked up a nearby water bottle. Shopkeeper – “How much does this bottle cost in your city?” Tourist – “₹20.” Shopkeeper – “And here? ₹80.” Tourist – “Why such a huge difference?” Shopkeeper – “Because goods don’t arrive directly at the shop by truck here, brother…” “From Gaurikund, everything is carried uphill by mules and workers through steep mountain routes.” “Sometimes transporting just one sack of goods costs up to ₹3000.” As he spoke, he started preparing the chaat -adding hot boiled chickpeas, onions, cucumber, spices, and lemon. The tourist interrupted again – “Still… ₹90 feels too expensive.” The shopkeeper smiled and replied: “Brother… in cities, you only pay for the food.” “But in the mountains, you also pay for the effort it takes to bring that food here.” A few seconds later, he handed over the plate and said: “Here… your special mountain-style chaat is ready.” The tourist took one bite… and suddenly went silent. Because in the mountains, things are not expensive just because of the food itself… sometimes, you’re paying for the hard work behind reaching that height. If you were there… would you buy the ₹90 chaat or walk away after hearing the price?

@chiragbarjatya Govt is not giving jobs. Manufacturing is still sub par. People are trying to earn through hardwork on these apps - but here also Babus have problem. Tax loss (regn tax on bikes) is a stupid and short sighted argument. Seems Babus have been paid by Ola Uber to stop Bike taxis.

Narendra Modi is the most illiterate PM in the world. He is a disaster and the world now knows it. Some countries are exploiting his illiteracy and some will do it in future. But comparing Modi with the legendary Saint Dr Manmohan Singh is shameful on so many counts!

@BoomerDivvies Its a poor decision financially. But given the fact that most lottery winners become poor again in few years, it seems a wise decision as she will have some money every week which keep her away from poverty in any situation.

An 20-year-old Canadian girl won $1M (tax free in Canada) in the lottery and chose $1,000/week instead of the lump sum. Is this wise or the worst financial decision of her life? What are you doing when this happens to you??

A Hindu man had gone rafting in the Ganga River in Rishikesh. Some peaceful people were also in the same rafting boat with him. When he asked everyone in the boat to say “Ganga Maa ki Jai”, all those peaceful people went silent. Not a single one of them said “Ganga Maa ki Jai.” What kind of people are these? They want to go rafting and enjoy themselves in the holy Ganga River, which is sacred and deeply connected to the faith of Hindus. Yet they still cannot even say “Ganga Maa ki Jai.”
