Ethan Cates with a BIG night offensively when his team needed him most. He picks up a pair of RBIs tonight, including a missile of a homerun in the middle innings. Both McDaniels brothers had an RBI each. Troopers are (3-0) in division with Game 2 against Houston on Friday!

🔒Hicks had to sweat out some pesky Topper runners, but he gets the door closed to secure a 5-4 Trooper WIN!!! McDaniels was spectacular on the bump tonight! 6 2/3 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 14... YES .... 14 K's in 20 outs!!!

IAHS got what they needed to keep this one going. A leadoff 2B by Hughes (his second of the night), followed by a single by Kerr, sac fly by Wiygul, and RBI groundout by Kent. 10-2 Bot 5
