Among The Waves 💚 Wishlist on Steam!
Pregnancy isn't an "adult theme". It's life. If in games it exists almost only in one context — that says something about a gap in our culture, not about the topic itself. Among the Waves is about something else: strength, faith, and a mother's devotion. And we're glad to be making exactly that.

@HighyieldHarry I gave opus 4.7 a literal call transcript and asked it a simple question about what was discussed and it got it completely wrong. They lobotomized their models

Been using Codex much more than Claude Code lately It's wild that Claude became popular *because* it had the best-in-class models for coding... and all it had to do was hold the lead

@PalmerLuckey Perhaps. Fair point. But call me “dumb” under your real name, or STFU coward.

A) I guess investors are just tired of the same old shit… B) Saw the exact same idiocy in the dot com bubble (great paper pictured below). Not sure if changing your name to .com or AI empowered bidets are dumber. Call it a tie.

I’ve hired hundreds of people over 28 years. The best signal I’ve found to figure out if someone is smart? Talk fast about complicated things and see if they can keep up. In interviews, I’ll shift from product strategy to unit economics to technical architecture in two minutes flat. I’m watching for one thing. Can this person hold complexity at speed? Most people can talk fast about simple things. The real tell is when someone can do it about hard things. Novel problems. Tangled tradeoffs. Fluid reasoning under pressure. Turns out the science backs this up. A 2024 Baycrest/University of Toronto study found talking speed is directly linked to executive function. The researchers recommended it be included in standard cognitive assessments. Fry and Hale (1996) showed the chain: faster processing drives working memory, which drives intelligence. The correlation between processing speed and general intelligence gets stronger as complexity increases. Processing speed is real. It’s measurable. And it shows up in conversation long before it shows up on any resume. It’s the best hiring filter for intelligence I’ve found.
