@HomeJams @MHarrisonW @EthanLevins2 Nope. Ever tried non alcoholic champagne or wine? It tastes like shit. That’s why it looked like he didn’t like it. No way Trump is drinking alcohol for no reason other than for a toast. China doesn’t care if it’s non alcoholic

@MHarrisonW @EthanLevins2 Why did he nearly gag on it? Just a toast, looks like he has done this often but it was something alcoholic.

Trump has never had alcohol in his life. China gave him a beverage to toast, and Trump drank it. This is a very subtle, but STRONG statement on who’s really in charge.

@RoRigi63 @dutch_import @EthanLevins2 Watch his reaction right after drinking it, you really think it was most likely not alcohol? I voted Trump 3 times but this isn’t even something controversial its just obvious

@toffael @AndyBurnhamGM This is the UK. We vote for politicians who deliver and do their best for the UK, not Gaza and Israel. If you care about Gaza so much, go and live there and vote in their elections.

I can confirm that I will be requesting the permission of the NEC to stand in the Makerfield by-election. I grew up in this area and have lived here for 25 years. I care deeply about it and its people. I know they have been let down by national politics. Ten years ago, I decided to leave Westminster. Why? Because, after 16 years, I came to the conclusion that our national political system does not work for areas like ours. I learnt this fighting its failure to invest in the Wigan borough, for justice for the Hillsborough families and against its treatment of Greater Manchester during the pandemic. Over the last decade, I have been challenging this failure from the outside and building a new and better way of doing politics. We have built Greater Manchester into the fastest-growing city-region in the UK and put buses back under public control, introducing a £2 fare cap to help people with cost-of-living pressures. However, there is only so much that can be done from Greater Manchester. Much bigger change is needed at a national level if everyday life is to be made more affordable again. This is why I now seek people’s support to return to Parliament: to bring the change we have brought to Greater Manchester to the whole of the UK and make politics work properly for people. Millions are struggling and they need the Labour Government to succeed. It has already made changes to make life better for them in its first two years. After this week, we owe it to people to come back together as a Labour movement, giving the Prime Minister and the Government the space and stability they need as the by-election takes place. I want to recognise the difficult decision taken by Josh Simons and the sacrifice he and his family are making. I have worked closely with him as Mayor on issues like flooding and illegal waste dumping and have seen first-hand how effective he has been. He has put the communities of Makerfield first, made a real difference for them and should take great pride in that. Finally, I truly do not take a single vote for granted and will work hard to regain the trust of people in the Makerfield constituency, many of whom have long supported our party but lost faith in recent times. We will change Labour for the better and make it a party you can believe in again. ENDS

@RandomFanMan @signulll Functioning alcoholics drink to feel normal. They don’t wait until they feel good to pick up a six pack, they keep drinking all day when they wake up.

@signulll Disagree. Functioning alcoholics wake up hungover, take adderall, tell themselves they aren’t drinking today and then feel good enough at the end of the day that they pick up a six pack, then go back before close for a bottle of wine. Repeat.

🚨💣 West Ham believe the Premier League is working against them and fear the club is being pushed toward relegation this season. People inside the club think Tottenham’s bigger commercial and TV value could be influencing decisions in their favor. West Ham are now considering legal action over refereeing decisions, with several incidents from this season being reviewed internally. The club is also looking into matches involving rival teams, with growing belief that the mistakes are more than just “human error.” [@Mercado_Ingles]

@donhutch4 Different angle Don and this shows Nmecha (he’s not defender btw) touch the ball, on the balance of the 2 there is no clear and obvious error. Maybe also look at the offside on DCL prior to 1st Leeds penalty claim, evidence that VAR was incorrect and DCL onside.

@TruthSignalUK @DailyMail @sreynolds196777 They were definitely drunk. 5am after leaving a club. That’s a given. Question is how they got into the water. Fully clothed suggests they fell from the pier or somewhere else.
