Here’s an overview of how I started my cloud journey:- A journey of discovery. I was confused when I wanted to choose a cloud provider ,but I eventually chose the largest cloud provider in the world which is @awscloud ,the rationale behind choosing it will be explicated later.

My cloud journey continues… Stage 4:- I then moved on to Database aspect. Its implementation and way data is structured will determine how well an app performa as it scales. A Database is a mechanism for storing,managing, and retrieving data not files. @awscloud

Finally, under this stage, I was introduced to Amazon MemoryDB in Redis,a fully managed in-memory data store service and it stores data RAM instead of disk, providing extremely fast data access using Redis. This stag was understood seamlessly, on to the next stage. @awscloud

You can interact with it in 4 ways : AWS console , AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), AWS software Development Kits ( SDKs) , or NoSQL Workbench for DynamoDB. I also explored Amazon Neptune Database, a fully managed graph database service, you connect to it through endpoints.

I continue on the path of discovery… Stage 3:- when I reached this stage, I ruminated and asked myself, “can I do this” however I later found it interesting . I entered the storage aspect, the first segment is Simple Storage Service (S3). @awscloud

Elastic disaster recovery helps you quickly recover your physical or virtual servers hosted on @awscloud , in on-premises data centers, or even in other cloud providers. I started this stage with fear and ended it with felicity, let’s move on to the next stage. #AWS #DevOps

It has 4 types:- S3 file gateway, FSx file gateway, Tape gateway, and Volume gateway. If you want to easily back up your data and copy it to different @awscloud regions across services , you can use AWS Backup.@awscloud covers you during disasters or application failures.
