@TorayKortan it's funny how every time btc revisits a prior high people call it a top, and it's never a reset before the next leg. weird.

Imagine trying to explain to someone in early 2020 that BTC would eventually go on to make an ATH at $69K, then in the next cycle go on to almost double that, then when it eventually returns to that previous ATH most would declare crypto dead.

Date: May 4, 2026 BTC: $79,985 Convexity Capture: ON Trend intact. Exposure elevated. The move feels extended, so people hesitate. That hesitation is usually the cost of entry.

$BTC is battling the SINGLE most important resistance zone on the chart right now. This is the 2025 support level that flipped — the one everyone is watching. $ 80,581 is the number (.786 fib from 2022 low and All Time High) Close weekly candles above it and every bear thesis gets obliterated. Until then… don’t get greedy at resistance. Stay disciplined.

You must have this question: Why aren't alts moving much relative to BTC? My stance: The crypto market has recently gone through a heavy crash, geopolitical pain, and panic. Of course, it will take time to recover from everything it has gone through. In situations like this, the safest asset seems to be BTC, which is why investors are more interested in it. Money has started rotating into BTC, which is already a good sign. Once the panic calms and investors see BTC performing well and gain confidence in the crypto market, money will slowly rotate into ETH and then mid cap and low cap alts will explode. BTC's move is already a bullish signal. So no move in alts is actually a chance for traders to build positions (in good alts) Scroll through my feed to see trade ideas. #Bitcoin dominance $BTC.D monthly looks like it has another leg up. Last time when we had the double top in $BTC.D, the second top was in December 2020/January 2021 where the #Bitcoin parabolic bull market was in full swing.

Bitcoin Dominance has slowly and steadily climbed since the market started to bounce at the end of March. BTC.D strength is common as BTC recovers from the base of bear markets. We saw something similar in late 2020 as Bitcoin started to climb back to previous all time highs. It wasn't until after this happened that we started to see a stretch where alts consistently outperformed. I expect something similar to happen here: USD prices slowly climb across the board, but Bitcoin continues to outperform until it approaches its previous ATHs... sometime after, we see a real alt season.

This was a textbook Bull Trap right before Bitcoin’s final breakdown. The exact same pattern played out in 2022 → and in this cycle, $BTC will dump to $30,000 in 2026. Bookmark this now. Most will realize it too late.
