WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CHOLERA Cholera is an infectious condition caused by the ingestion of contaminated food and/or water which can lead to dehydration and even death if untreated. While most people can be asymptomatic i.e show no symptoms, they can however transmit it. Symptoms of cholera howbeit includes but are not limited to severe stooling and vomiting. So, if you know anyone currently stooling and vomiting, please take them to the nearest hospital as it is an emergency condt and can NOT be managed at home. Cholera is not airborne so It is not likely you will catch cholera just from casual contact with an infected person. It is gotten from contaminated fruits (mostly unpeeled) and vegetables, fresh or undercooked food(s), fresh juice and drinks. So as for now PLEASE COOK YOUR OWN FOOD. Remember cholera can only be managed in a hospital, so if you anyone with the aforementioned symptoms, kindly take them to the nearest hospital.
