Le vibe-coding c'est génial, j'en suis le premier convaincu mais ça amène aussi de fausses bonnes idées.
Ici, le directeur de l'information d'une ville qui raconte qu'ils ont remplacé le logiciel de vidéosurveillance Milestone par .. un truc développé maison.
Il parle du passage d'une licence 6000€ à un coût ponctuel de 400€ sans frais réccurents.
Mais c'est juste faux:
- Il y a le temps passé à faire ce nouveau "produit".
- Il y a le temps qu'il va falloir passer à le maintenir, le sécuriser, le faire évoluer.
- Il y a toutes les fonctions que leur nouvel outil ne gère pas.
Bref vraiment une fausse bonne idée. La vidéosurveillance ce n'est pas juste "regarder les caméras", surtout à l'échelle d'une ville.
Au passage du coup la gestion des enregistrements, ils se sont mis à stocker ça sur un simple serveur de fichiers.
C'est à dire qu'en termes de RGPD/Respect de la CNIL..
