@ingueferroque I think the third game is definitely the most open in terms of multiple paths and for me it was incredible, I think there are still mechanics and objects that I have never tried

@Luigi_Master89 I understand what you mean, but on the other hand, I think Metal Slug is also remembered for its high level of pixel art (at least in the pixel art community; I can't speak for the general public)

@batfeula Literally no one gives a shit about Metal Slug, they only care about Fio. If she never existed, Metal Slug would be just as fondly remembered as Cyber Lip.

@Ger_Morden The NGP games have really cool and complex backgrounds too, but I understand what you mean. To be honest this is not a perfect replica of the original arcade game, nor of the portable version, it just wants to be a tribute to a franchise that I love
