Whatever happens today, how great is it to be going to the best team in Europe with a genuine chance. We’re underdogs but who knows. Getting here makes this a good campaign. Going any further would mean we’re ahead of schedule - nobody can say getting to or winning a Champions Cup final less than 4 years after JVG arrived wouldn’t be well beyond reasonable expectations. That said, these opportunities don’t come about easily so let’s give it everything. As long as we do that we can be proud, and confident that the future is bright #COYB 💙🖤🤍

@LeinsterClub Sorry that’s not correct it’s a football teams home fixture , and they own the stadium, it’s not like booking a Big game etc and when you don’t know until less than a month in advance it’s not practical

@hoopsss I think we’re talking about slightly different things. I completely agree, rugby has a class issue, especially in Bath. That troubles me. My point was more about geography and how it’s interesting that most Prem clubs are based in Lab/Lib areas, which doesn’t match the stereotype

EPCR have announced the officials for the Semi-Finals Nika Amashukeli will be the man in the middle for Bath’s match in Bordeaux. He took charge of Bath’s Challenge Cup semi-final vs Edinburgh last year while he also reffed the 1st half vs Saracens in the last 16.

@bathbadger @rugbyexpansion @nairno03 That competition needs some reform though, would never have any care to go to an away prem cup game unless it’s a knockout game

Time for a ticket price cap. Ideally for all fans but certainly for away fans. Bath fans shouldn’t be shafted to watch their team but away fans definitely shouldn’t. The Prem are clearly starting to see the value of away fans, now they need to cap away tickets at £20.

@bathbadger @rugbyexpansion @nairno03 I’ve been to every prem game and 1 European trip this season. Would say Bath and Quins (think they do get off lightly as there prices are also very high) are the two where you feel robbed with the price you pay

@rugbyexpansion @cornwall_fraser @nairno03 We need the broadcasters to fall in line too and stop messing around with the schedules and moving matches. Especially when booking travel and accommodation

@bathbadger @cornwall_fraser @nairno03 Seems like the powers actually have realised the value of away fans and the atmosphere they bring. If they are really serious then I could see it as it’s the only way they could entice fans. Bath the only club where it doesn’t make commercial sense.

@bathbadger @rugbyexpansion @nairno03 Yep, that’s why making the ticket a fixed cheaper price may not put as many off. That’ll mean more away support at games and I think the grown potential on that may bring in more revenue than the extra ticket revenue

@bathbadger @cornwall_fraser @nairno03 But why would you be against a reduction in that? You could both have cheaper tickets. Not every fan wants to travel but often those who do are the most loyal fans and they should be rewarded

@bathbadger @cornwall_fraser @nairno03 I wouldn’t mind if I knew I would get £20 tickets when I wanted to go to an away game. And Bath wouldn’t but the other 9 clubs should and then they should charge Bath fans £95 if Bath don’t want to play ball.

@bathbadger @rugbyexpansion @nairno03 But that person who has paid £20 or £30 for there ticket has also had to spend £80 on accommodation, £70 on travel (for me from Burnley) and likely spending at least £50 on the day
