Sometimes I think my brother is our own kind of Forrest Gump. He was born breech, his delivery was sort of delayed and that caused him developmental problems. Slow learner they said. Stuttering badly. Always lost in his own world. Got bullied physically and mentally at school despite our father was a teacher at the school. On his 10th attempt of repeating SPM, he told mum it could be his last attempt. On multiple occasions, he cried. That led him to another two attempt of STPM. Led him to successfully graduated with a degree. Then another with DPLI. Meanwhile, he did oddjobs; being a guard at the hospital, schools, old folks home and helping our father at the paddy field. On the day of his interview, he was asked about his OKU card at the end of the session. He admitted having it for being a slow learner; OKU pembelajaran. The moment he stepped out of the interview room, he went to our mother, and cried, probably out of relief, or from feeling like he was near the end of his long fight. And today is the day he is officially a teacher at a school. And he’s starting his life fresh and anew, at the age of 37. He is still him, the older brother I’ve known since we were small. Still being as he is, just like how Forrest Gump was at the end of the movie. Still him, but he created history through perseverance and grit, straight from his own life. It’s true that he received great support from our mother, father and all of us siblings. But one fact in life is that you can’t help a person if the person doesn’t want to be helped, even if the whole world lends a hand. But in this case, he helped himself, hence he got helped. All the best to this new chapter, this new endeavour at the new place. We will always be there for him, through and through, as long as he is through and through with himself, as he always has been. Malaysians want low dense, landed homes. Malaysians also want to preserve their forests. Malaysians want MRTs to reach their house in Elmina and Serenia, and also walkability. Malaysians also want low taxes too.. I don't know what city thst has all these elements.

Adakah ini nepotisme? Dari segi bahasa: Tidak Dari segi Proses Pemilihan: Tidak Dari segi praktikal: Tidak So masalahnya dekat mana? PERSEPSI. Politik adalah persepsi. Aku selalu lepak dengan member-member dekat Felda, nak buang persepsi diorang yang Anwar bukan peliwat, Ya Allah punyalah susah. Sampai hari ni pun tak boleh nak buang. Diorang kata, dah mahkamah cakap macam tu, aku ikut kata mahkamah. Nak buang persepsi melayu luar bandar yang kata PH Hancing, esok kita menang harga minyak turun, susah. Nak buang persepsi yang PTPTN akan dihapuskan bila PH jadi kerajaan, pun susah. Dah berpuluh tahun diorang ditanam dekat otak yang PH anti Melayu-Islam, nak jual negara, kau bagi 1000 penjelasan dan bukti pun mereka tetap dengan persepsi mereka. Sekarang ni pun ada banyak lagi persepsi sedia ada yang kita sebagai penyokong PH nak kena lawan. Kau nak tambah lagi satu? Kau tahu tak sekali persepsi tu dah melekat kat kepala orang, dia macam permanent glue, memang susah nak buang. Kau masih lagi bermain dengan delusional. Konon katanya semua ini boleh dijelaskan dan dilawan dengan fakta. Tapi kau ingat diorang ni nak dengar ke fakta? Kebanyakan manusia cuma nak dengar apa yang dia nak dengar, apa yang senada dengan dia. Ditambah buruk dengan kewujudan algorithm media sosial yang hanya cenderung untuk memaparkan berita atau perkara yang kita suka dan senada dengan kita. Lagi la susah fakta dari side kita tu nak disampaikan. Dalam hal ni, aku paling suka dengan Rafizi punya pandangan, very unpopular solution. "Counter attack yang paling ampuh adalah angka - yang relate dengan kehidupan seharian." "Mereka akan senyap dengan sendirinya apabila mereka dapat merasakan taraf hidup yang makin meningkat, barang keperluan asas yang berpatutan dengan gaji bermaruah, peluang pekerjaan yang bermaruah pun banyak, banyak pelaburan bagi pulangan yang lebih baik contohnya ASB, dll" Dan kita tahu yang kerajaan sedang work very hard untuk angka-angka ni. Tapi, sedang mereka bertungkus-lumus untuk capai target, kau pulak datang dengan persepsi baru yang boleh jadi liability besar kepada kerajaan, iaitu NEPOTISME (persepsi lama sebenarnya, tapi dalam versi yang jauh lebih updated). Macam mana kau nak jelaskan pasal ni dekat orang-orang melayu luar bandar yang kebanyakannya penyokong PN dan BN? Media team pun hauk, banyak isu sebelum ni pun tak dapat ditangkis dengan baik. Ingat lagi masa PRU 15 dulu, antara sebab kenapa Nurul Izzah kalah dekat Permatang Pauh adalah kerana laras bahasa dan perbezaan cara fikir. Kebanyakan daripada golongan luar bandar ni diorang bukan bodoh, tapi diorang ni 'simple minded'. Dan Izzah pulak boleh berkempen pasal climate change (salah satu topik) dekat Permatang Pauh. Memang ghuyup lah. So laras bahasa dan topik Izzah tak mesra orang kampung. Kita yang dengar dia berceramah dalam Jelajah Damai baru-baru ni pun susah nak faham dia cakap apa. So, kau rasa macam mana kau nak ubah persepsi sebahagian besar pengundi melayu pasal Nepotisme ni? Kesimpulannya aku setuju macam apa yang Rafizi cakap, apa yang kau buat ni adalah: "UNNECESSARY CHAOS"
